Sorry that the linework isn’t as perfect as I’d like it to be. In the middle of detailing the inking, the nib on my Wacom tablet pen broke off in the pen. Then while figuring out how to fix the problem, I found out that A) the pen is built so there’s pretty much no way to get the broken bits out and a new bit in, B) Wacom doesn’t sell replacement pens, and C) it probably isn’t covered under the warranty because technically, it’s the nib that broke. WELP.
Resourcefully, I cut a replacement nib down to size and jammed it in there with some sticky tac, and it was… serviceable. Short term solution. So I am ordering a new tablet, a monoprice, which I’ve heard was pretty good and was cheap and DOES sell replacement pens. SO THERE. Anyways, crisis averted.
Since this is technically going up on New Years, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Be safe and don’t go wandering any dark alleys! I have a feeling 2013 will be a good year for noir.
P.S. Can I just say how difficult that last panel was to do and how fucking gorgeous it looks? THAT IS 3-POINT PERSPECTIVE. LOOK AT THAT SHIT.
